What Is Remote Viewing?
Do you know what remote viewing is? It’s a psychic ability that allows you to see people, places and things that are not within range of your normal sight. That is, you can’t see or hear what’s going on by conventional means, but you can use your own natural psychic ability and learn how to see things without actually being there in person.
Let’s make a clarification, here, though. Remote viewing isn’t the same as having an out of body experience. Instead, astral travel, also called an ‘out of body experience,’ actually involves you traveling in spirit form to witness firsthand an event or place.
Remote viewing is a form of psychic dowsing, where the viewer is using psychic power to seek out whatever he wants to find. The remote viewer is using a form of ESP to locate that which he seeks.
Every human being has some kind of psychic ability that may or may not be latent. Some people may indeed use psychic ability freely as adults, but others have not been able to fully access their psychic ability when younger. It’s perhaps not surprising that we only use about 10% of our brains capacity, with the remaining 90% idle and unused, untrained and untapped instead of being used to its full potential.
Imagine being able to reach out and just know that your children are okay while they’re away from family. The security and peace of mind that comes with being able to use remote viewing for beneficial needs is priceless.
Remote viewing is different than other kinds of psychic abilities because anyone can learn how to do remote viewing. In fact, remote viewing has been studied among non-psychic people, and it’s been shown that once these people could be put into a trancelike state that was sufficient enough, they could indeed do remote viewing exercises and be very accurate with them.
Here are some simple remote viewing techniques you can try on your own:
*Sit comfortably in a quiet place and close your eyes. You should be sure there are no distractions before you begin.
*Close your mouth and breathe deeply through your nose, relaxing as you do so. You may find it easier to control your breathing if you lightly press your tongue to the roof of your mouth. This will also help make it easier to avoid yawning during this phase of the exercise.
*Be willing to suspend any disbelief in remote viewing at least for the time being. Being willing to believe that remote viewing is indeed possible is a big part of any success you will have doing it. As you fall into an ever more deeply relaxed state, remind yourself that you are indeed capable of viewing places, events or people that you cannot physically see with your eyes at the present moment.
*Start with something simple, so that you can test your abilities and show yourself that you’re indeed capable of doing this kind of psychic viewing. For example, you could ‘place yourself’ in a standing position in front of the ‘you’ that is sitting relaxed in a chair. Now, look back over your shoulder at the ‘relaxed’ you, and see if you can see yourself sitting there. It can be a little trying it first to try to see yourself from this perspective, but patience is necessary. When you can finally see yourself from this position, it’s a marvelous surprise.
*Once you can see yourself from this kind of relatively simple remote viewing perspective, make it a little bit more challenging. Pick a location that you’re very familiar with but that is nonetheless some distance away from you. For example, perhaps you can use a family member or friend’s home as the location you want to see. As you train your ‘remote viewing’ on this location, take note of anything that may not be as it normally is when you’ve been there before. Perhaps there are books stacked on the coffee table or some scattered toys on the floor. Make note of these ‘out of place’ things that make this particular view unique from any others you have seen previously. As soon as you get a chance, call and ask your friend or family member to confirm what you saw with your remote viewing. Confirming that your view was accurate is very important, because it will give you greater confidence in your ability to do this type of remote viewing.
You can also change these remote-viewing exercises so that you can get feedback much more quickly. Have a friend or family member sit in another room of your home, out of your line of sight. Ask him or her to repeat some simple motion, such as waving a hand, twirling a strand of hair, etc. sit quietly and use remote viewing to see if you can see the action being performed. When it’s done, ask whether or not your results were correct.
One positive side effect to spending time practicing remote viewing is that you may find yourself much more adept at getting into a relaxed state as you do so. The relaxed state you put yourself into when you practice remote viewing is very much like the trancelike relaxation people are put into when they are put under hypnosis. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is a state where you are very alert and aware of what’s going on around you, but you are also very relaxed. This state of extreme relaxation and alertness at the same time makes it much easier to get in touch with your subconscious mind.
If you are new to tapping into your psychic abilities, you can access them much more easily by your subconscious. The more you work on getting good at your remote viewing techniques, the better you’ll get at them.
